Virtual Reality 101

[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_column_text]Virtual Reality is soon becoming commonplace. A year ago, VR was rare and very expensive. Now that it has become much cheaper, and in turn, more accessible, people have been using it more often. From creating creative marriage proposals to allowing teachers to take their students on a virtual field trips. VR is slowly but surely going to change the way we learn and interact with the world around us.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]When the Oculus Rift came out years ago and was bought by Facebook for $2 billion dollars, people were shocked. It was a great idea, but very expensive, and difficult to implement into our daily lives. When Google released the Cardboard, which is a much better alternative , the hype over the $600 dollar Oculus Rift was soon over. The cardboard is a fraction of the price, $35 dollars , and compatible with both Android and Apple devices. Also, you don't have to buy the Google Cardboard to experience VR.  There are many online DIY's that are priced at only $10 dollars.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_video link=""][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_video link=""][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_video link=""][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_video link=""][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_video link=""][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_column_text]Google also allows developers free access to their SDK (Software Development Kit) to allow anyone the freedom to create apps on their phones. Google Cardboard and the new JUMP cam disrupts and expands the film and television industries. For example, this summer Conan360° is returning. Download the Team Coco App and stick your phone inside your personal cardboard, (you can sign up to win one here,) and you’ll be magically transported to the very center of the late night action!
